José is the President of Boyden Valencia, and leads their board search, financial services, and industrial practice groups there.

Starting his career as a consultant, José held several positions for one of the world’s leading auditing and consulting companies. Initially based in Valencia, he became responsible for the Management Advisory Services department for the entire Spanish territory.

He then joined the management team of a major wholesale and retailing company, where he served on the Board of Directors prior to joining Boyden. A generalist, he conducts high-level searches throughout Spain recruiting senior managers for top companies mainly within the financial, consumer and leisure segments.

José holds an MBA from ESADE, and completed postgraduate and doctoral studies at Montpellier University (France). He speaks Spanish, English, and French.
