Fernando is part of the team that opened the Boyden Barcelona office over a decade ago. He focuses on both top-level and middle management assignments for both national and international clients in the board search, consumer products, and industrial sectors.

He has enjoyed an impressive track record with other executive search firms. Prior to joining the search industry, he served as Managing Director of the Spanish subsidiary of a German multinational publishing group. Earlier in his career, he held a senior marketing position in one of the leading food companies in Spain.

He serves on the board of directors of Samalús Termal, a new Spa development near Barcelona. He has also served on the board of Mundo Actual de Ediciones until its takeover.

Fernando holds a BS in business economics, and an MBA from ESADE. He speaks fluent English, French, German and is bilingual Spanish-Catalan. Fernando also served as a field guns officer in the Spanish Army.
